The first outing of the year for The Vintage Car Club of Queensland (
(VCCQ) is the Virgin's Breakfast run to
JOLLYS LOOKOUT.

eaving at 5:00am sharp from Ashgrove, the run winds through the leafy suburb of the Gap before the winding climb to the lookout for a BBQ breakfast. The cooler climate of the D'Aguilar National Park was a welcome change from the hot, humid atmosphere of Brisbane.
The story behind the name of the run seems to be steeped in the history of the club, several explanations came to hand. The location of the Moon and Sun at that time of year, memories of forgotten youth!
