Held in the Southern Downs town of Leyburn, the two day sprint event celebrates the 1949 Australian Grand Prix which was held on a nearby airstrip.
Leyburn Sprints provides grass roots motor sport with a wide variety of cars from 1926 Amilcar AC to late model Westfield Clubmans. The track layout provides great viewing for spectators, with the added bonus of access to all cars in the pits area.
The Leyburn Historic Sprints Committee and all the volunteers once again this year provided a great event.
